This policy explains how Sorted Marketing Ltd (“Sorted”, “we”, “us”) collects and uses personal information when you visit this website or get in touch with us. We are the controller of that information.

Who we are

Sorted Marketing Ltd is a company registered in England and Wales, company number 16502512. Registered office: 98 Somerset Road, Huddersfield, HD5 8HZ. You can contact us about this policy, or about your information, using the form on our book a call page.

What we collect

• Contact form. Your name, email address and message, plus your company and phone number if you choose to give them.
• Bookings. If you book a call, Google Calendar collects the details you enter (such as your name and email address) and shares them with us so we can hold the call.
• Technical information. Our web host keeps standard server logs, such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you request, to keep the site secure and working.

How we use it

We use your information to reply to your enquiry, arrange and hold calls, and, if you become a client, to provide our services. Our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in responding to people who contact us, or taking steps at your request before entering into a contract. We do not sell your information, and we will not add you to a mailing list unless you ask us to.

Who we share it with

We only share information with the services that help us run this website and our business:

• IONOS, which hosts this website.
• Web3Forms, which receives contact form messages and forwards them to us by email.
• Google, which provides our appointment booking, website analytics (only if you accept analytics cookies) and the fonts used on this site. When a page loads, your browser requests fonts from Google, which receives your IP address.

Some of these providers may process information outside the UK. Where they do, they use safeguards approved under UK data protection law.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry details for as long as we need them to respond and follow up, and for no more than two years after our last contact unless you become a client. Client records, including contracts and invoices, are kept for six years after the end of the financial year they relate to, as UK tax law requires. After that we delete them. You can ask us to delete your details sooner at any time, and we will unless the law requires us to keep them.

Cookies

We use Google Analytics to understand how people find and use this website, such as which pages are visited and how long for. It sets cookies (named _ga and _ga_…) that last up to two years. These are only set if you click accept on our cookie banner, and you can change your mind at any time using the cookie settings link at the bottom of every page.

We also remember your cookie choice in your browser so we don’t ask again on every page. The booking calendar on our book a call page is provided by Google, which may set its own cookies when you use it.

Your rights

You have the right to ask for a copy of your information, to have it corrected or deleted, to object to or restrict how we use it, and to ask us to transfer it. To make a request, contact us using the form on our book a call page. If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
